Join us on May 7 (Day two of the NLCA Build Expo) from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., for this new, forward-thinking summit dedicated to advancing workforce solutions and gender equity within the construction sector. The summit event is a strategic, region-wide initiative designed to address persistent labour shortages while confronting the systemic barriers that continue to limit women’s entry, retention, and advancement across the skilled trades and construction & industry leadership. This summit will bring together employers, industry leaders, and educators to focus on practical, measurable outcomes.
Through targeted workshops, mentorship opportunities, and direct employer engagement, the event aims to strengthen pathways for women to enter, remain, and advance in their construction industry careers—contributing to a more inclusive, resilient, and productive workforce for Newfoundland and Atlantic Canada.
Delegate registration includes networking luncheon from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
