The primary objective of this course is to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in construction estimating. The course is designed for individuals at various career stages and roles, including aspiring estimators, junior project managers, site superintendents, project coordinators, tradespeople, and professionals seeking to update their skills to meet Canadian standards. It is particularly beneficial for those who wish to build practical expertise in quantity takeoff and pricing.

Participants in this program learn essential concepts and procedures relevant to construction estimating. The curriculum emphasizes assessing project scope, utilizing checklists, and estimating labour, materials, and general expenses. Upon completion, students are equipped with the skills needed to prepare detailed estimates.

Module 3: Quantity Takeoff for Concrete
Module 4: Quantity Takeoff for Masonry
Module 5: Estimating Finishes
Module 6: Introduction to Pricing Construction Works
Module 7: General Expenses and Overheads
Module 8: Introduction to MEP Estimating
Week 9: Final Examination
